I took Katie and Tori out to my folks place so we could go on a big walk for Katie's birthday. Mom and dad have quite a bit of land and the girls love it out there. I'm going to have to convince my parents to fence it all in so we can have a dog park and invite all of our pet talk friends .

I had a really hard time at first. The girls were super excited and all they wanted to do was drag me behind them. I had 20 ft. leashes on them that I hadn't used before and at first we were just a tangled mess...lol. I'm trying to hang on to the leashes with one hand and I have my camera in the other. I almost just gave up and went back home. I gave up on the pictures for awhile and just walked them for a bit so they could calm down. We still kept getting tangled up in those leashes...lol. I finally gave up and just dropped Katie's. We have done this before but I've never been alone and done it. She was wonderful. Stayed right with me and Tori. Every once in awhile I would give her a warning noise to let her know that she was getting to far away and she would stop and wait for us. This could never happen with Tori. I swear she just has one thing on her mind....RUN!

I didn't get very good pictures. They were fascinated by all the smells so I got alot of curly tail butt pics and pics of then rooting and sniffing at the ground.

Nice pictures. They are two pretty girls. You did a lot better than I would have. I don't think I could handle two large dogs that want to go hunting let alone take pictures at the same time. They look like they had a good time.

Those pics are fantastic! I didn't get to look at them all yet because I am at home on the ANCIENT computer and it would take me all night but I saw the first 10 or so (I will look at them tomorrow inthe AM on the company's dollar!) I love, love,love the first one, the butt picture! It's hysterical! And the one where the caption was about catching the little critter! Funny how we all think alike sometimes...."did the little critter get away?" The dogs are so disappointed and we humans are so happy! Funny! Thanks for sharing! I loved them and I needed a pick-me-up! You gave me one!

awww! Your girls are so gorgeous, Robin!! I loove the curlybutts. It's so much fun to watch dogs explore, its like their wild instincts take over a little. That looks like a primo dog park field to me! ^_^
