Trying to read my newspaper this morning......

A much to do about nothing post, but I just had to share as it was so cute, this morning I aborted my paper run duties with my daughter, I was having a break from the early morning start as we were heading off to Auckland and I was not feeling the best, so I lay in bed deciding to read my morning newspaper.

Who should jump up to greet me , my wee girl lexie, she usually stays at the bottom of the bed while we have stroking, tummy rubs and floppies for mama, but NO not today we like the sound of the crinkly newspaper, and we loved to kneed it too, something we don't do too often and then we love to flopp right in the middle of the newspaper waiting for a belly rub, paws up in the air , with that aren't I cute look? consquently I gave up trying to read the paper and enjoyed my sweet girl, kitties are so cute aren't they?

You are kidding, aren't you? Reading a newspaper with a cat in the house? Haven't you learned that you can't do that by now? ESPECIALLY in a bed!! You were begging for it!
