    Paxil update

I spent my lunch hour visiting with Paxil. She's much perkier today. She is normally one of those dogs who will literally lick for hours. Yesterday, she wasn't giving any kisses. Today she's not as affectionate as usual, but she is giving kisses again and she crawled right into my lap for some snuggles.

Tomorrow morning, they will try feeding her a little bit of I/D food. If she keeps it down, she can come home! On meds and special food, but still HOME!! I am always amazed at how obvious the absence of one furkid is. 20 dogs were still at home last night and 8 cats and somehow the house was a little empty!

The vet found a small lump on one back leg. She thinks it is just a fatty tumor, but she's going to aspirate it this afternoon.

Please keep those paws crossed that my little sweetie will be home soon and that the lump is nothing major.
