Anyone else's dogs like the cold? (pics)

Emily loves the cold weather. And as long as there is snow on the ground she will not drink water, she would much rather eat snow. I let her outside and went to check on her and found her like this:







Actually it is warmer than it has been for the last few days.



In case you can't read it well, the temperature on our deck is -14C which is 6.8F.

Are you kidding? Nebo LOVES snow! He's like Emily, he eats it all the time! I love that pic of her with the snow on her nose, so cute!

Reggie and Sydney tolerate it, but they don't enjoy it that much.

Happy loves it, she goes outside the the winter for the sole purpose of rolling around in the snow lol abd shadow(sheltie mix) LOVES snow, she does not get to stay outside for long periods at her new home, but when she was here winter was her favorite season, she would have slept on the snow if we let her, and my brother used to bury shadow in snowbanks so ony her head was showing lol she is the only dog I know who let you do that to her! and if you go outside in boot and mitts and such, with shadow she will tackle you into the snow, pull off one of your boots and run away, or she she decides to be nice she will only steal your mitts lol she has done that all 8 years of her life, she is a strange dog

Echo and Tango LOVE the snow! This morning when I let Tango outside after she was finished doing her laps she layed in the snow for quite a while before I called her back in

Riley loves the snow too! She's been eating so much of it lately that we took her to the vet and she called her over-hydrated!

It also seems as though Riley has "snow-trained" herself, just like newspaper or a litterbox except with snow. Almost all of it is melted but there is this one big mound of snow by our driveway and she climbs to the top of it just to go potty! She won't go anywhere else!

It seems whenever it's chilly out down here, the dogs get extra playful and hyper.

Hehehe we find Mickey in the snow like that. He loves it. But he lets us know when it gets too cold.. he'll lift up one paw and look at us from outside.

YES!! Heidi likes it outside. Speak of which, she is currently outside, being a naughty girl and not wanting to come in. I hate it when that happens. She likes to play in the snow, even though she has short hair. Emily, you are one CUTE dog. lol...it made me laugh when I saw those pictures of her. Heidi does that sometimes too. Silly dogs!
