The Candy Factory

Today's chore was to make candy wreaths for friends and family. Of course the kitties were there every step of the way to help me in any way I needed.

Of course Abby and Pouncer were up front and center first


But Harry quickly joined the party. He was SOOO cute. He kept picking up pieces of candy and carrying it away in his mouth. Of course when he did that he RAN off the table and I wasn't fast enough with the camera.


So many things to check - are the colors sorted properly? They had a ball taking individual pieces out of the bowls and batting them around on the table.


Pouncer didn't like the kittens batting the candy around on the table... so he left


Allen checked the finished product


And so you can all understand what on earth I was making: The complete wreath


And lastly...
After everyone had enough of candy, they decided to torment Allen on the scratching post.

Cute Pictures, furbabies make life much more interesting when trying to do something. Mine must also be right in the middle of everything. wreaths are cute. I must remember that.

Its so funny, I can completely picture each kitty coming by and having fun with the candy. Our Sami steals anything in plastic and RUNS with it too. I'd have to lock Sami or myself up if I attempted making those.

They are so cute! Are they very hard to make?

There is just something irrestible about hard candies to cats. I think it is the crinkly sound that the wrappers make that makes cats just go wild. My mom's Midnight loves to play with Root Beer Barrels....we find them everywhere in her house.
