    Thoughts for Lizzie please

    My foster Lizzie, who is classified as a hard to place cat due to her temperament, is getting visitors tomorrow. The people know about her from reading her bio on Petfinder, so they know what they would be getting into, but still, they only want 1 cat for their 20 year old college student daughter, so they are looking for the right choice. They tell me their daughter is excaptional with animals and would probably prefer a cat with needs more so than an "easy" cat that other people would santch up.

    So please, if you can fit it into yor schedule, think about or pray for this to work for Lizzie. She needs to be able to finally have a REAL home.

    Dear Lizzie, I hope you get the wonderful home you deserve. You're absolutely beautiful! "Hard to place" kitties just mean they are even more exceptional if they find the one person they can truly trust and love. What a lucky person that would be!

    Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    I have in front of me..............Adoption papers for Lizzie. She will be getting her forever home next Sunday! Let the party begin.

    WOOO HOOO! Good job Jen (and Lizzie)! Please tell them about pet talk. I would love to hear about Lizzie's progress from time-to-time.
    Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.
