    I finally got a job!

After job hunting for a while I finally got hired I went in for my interview today and at the end I expected to hear the dreaded "We'll let you know" but instead I got "Can you start tomorrow". I'm going to be working at a coffee shop, it's not a great job but I bet it will be a fun job. So I'm excited about going to work tomorrow I'm also kind of scared since I was a student and just did part time pet sitting I haven't had a "real" job in about two years. It's scary to think that I'm going to work tomorrow.
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

Great news! Congratulations. A job is what you make of it - you never know it might turn out to be a great job. Then again it may be a stepping stone to the great job.

Congratulations, Laura. I must admit that I didn't even remember how things came out after your last interview at the pet store . I'm glad you found something that will be fun!!!

What a cool job! Congrats! I love our coffee house. We have a new library and they moved across the hall from it. You must try an iced mocha. My nail tech got me started on those. Good luck tomorrow!

    Congratulations Laura!

It may be in a coffee shop, but heck, a job is a job!!! I know that old routine, "We'll get back to you."

I've been following up on a job at a Veterinary Hospital for the past 3 weeks. I've been getting the old, "We're reviewing the resumes and will start interviewing next week," for the past month. It's very frustrating.

I applied to another vet hospital today. They asked me if I had experience and I said yes. They told me that they will be setting up interviews next week.

I've also applied to Kelly Girls. I called in today and was told that they would ca ME when they hear anything. *sigh*

    I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck at your new job!

Great News!! I'm very happy for you. My mom and I were talking about how frustrated we are with our jobs and she said we should run a coffee house together .
