Our DYLAN is COTD - a celebrity :-)

This is a repeat of my answer to Angela's post - alerting me to the fact that Dylan is COTD today!! Could I ask you guys to post something there (on COTD thread) so that at the end of the day I can be sure and print off the replies and save them?? I would love to hear from ALL my friends here at PT This is such an exciting day for me. Dylan has no idea what the fuss is about but Meowmie is still just bursting!!!
    **********

OH MY GOSH!!! I am so excited I can't believe it!!!
Most days my routine is to go to COTD FIRST but not today!! Wow I am so excited!!!! and so proud of my DYLAN!!! I have been hugging him so much that he is now hiding from me - SHHESH Meowmie - what is WRONG with you? Get a GRIP would ya??

Thank you for letting me know, Angela, and for those who posted on his thread already!!!! I will print that all out and save it always!!

A suggestion, Deb, don't print at the end of the day. Wait a few days because there are always people who won't see it for a few days. If you print tonight, you'll end up re-printing tomorrow and possibly the next day and the next day....

    Congrats Dylan you sweet boy!

Debbie, Debbie is right! don't print for a few days. You will be surprised at how many more posts will be added by people who were out today.

Are you getting close to whining?

By the way-How is our little celebrity doing today? I think we loyal Dylan fans would love to see a photo shoot of the very special Dylan on his very pecial day! Besides you need pictures to store with your COTD printout!!

DON'T MAKE ME WHINE, AND HOLD MY BREATH, OR TURN BLUE!!!! I know some PT'ers have resorted to that and I have done my best not to get down on their level!

    Congrats Dylan!!

Carmen feels snubbed....she looks like one fine looking cat to me! http://petoftheday.com/archive/2004/July/02.html A wee bit scaly, but nothing a little moisturizer can't fix! Extra kissies for Dylan!

QSA- Funny! I looked at Carmen, expecting to find a kitty of yours!!!
I have just been excited as can be all day! (yes I am easily amused I guess) Dylan is getting spoiled of course and every once in awhile goes into hiding because he is overwhelmed because we keep fussing over him. Emily and Eliot went out on the porch in a disgusted huff. We DID, however get some pictures!! I have been waiting for one of the the "royal nap" so it has not happened yet!
But here we go. The ceremonies began with a can of Fancy Feast served on my very best cup and saucer of *Limoges*!

Complete with tablecloth and flowers! He actually was not particularly impressed, but did lick some of it off of his daddy's fingers

He preferred to be hand-fed with some of his favorite Whiskas Stix:

Then he enjoyed the royal feather fan treatment!

...and happily posed with sceptre extended next to his special page of the day!!

The day is still young!!! BTW - he now weighs 18 pounds!

Oh Dylan you are getting the royal treatment today!!! I'm so gald as you are so deserving you big hunk! You are 18 lbs!!! You go big boy!!! You and Peanut Butter should really get together! I do believe you have passed him in the weight department because he has lost several pounds this summer.

You look so adorable and I'm so glad meowmie didn't make me stoop to that atrocious whining!!
What a handsome lug you are Dylan and we are very proud of you!! Just think...it wasn't that long ago you were in a shelter and now here you are COTD and being treated like the King you are!! What a wonderful story!

Wow, what a day for Dylan!!! Fancy Feast in the finest china - la tee da!!! LOL! No wonder Eliot and Emily are in a huff, and just when poor Eliot was feeling a little respected.

Oh well, Dylan is a special boy, a special 18 pound boy - WOW!! He has officially hit Ripley size now and I know from experience that's a lot of cat!

Hugs and scritchies to that handsome orangie!!
