    Black mama and her newborn six

    Not a good picture (I didn't want to stress the mama cat out) but here's the mama I trapped several days ago. The mama cat had given birth in an overgrown backyard and I made it there and caught her before it started pouring out! Better pictures as the kittens get bigger!

    It's impossible to tell that there's all six babies bundled into that pile! many are polydactyls (as is mama). The little mama is only around eight months old herself. Sweet but scared little girl.
