Tasha and Tommy pics.. (Way too many)

Ok so I was going to go outside with the camera and take a few shots for people requesting them, and I ended up taking wayyyyy too many. Majority are of Tasha because she has endless energy even when it's warmer out, whereas Tommy boy gets hot quicker and wants to come back in. I was throwing sticks for Tasha, she loves to try to leap and catch them.

Some of the pics are different sizes because some I thought looked better zoomed in but cut out more of the background so they wouldn't be too huge.. anyway hope you enjoy, and sorry so many

    I'll start with Tommy boy.

Running after the log I just tried to throw. It's hard to see the log cause it's camoflaged some in the tree line but you can see the shadow of it slightly in front of him .

    Working on de-barking the log.

It looks like he has a bug on his nose but it's actually a little piece of bark from the log that somehow got there lol

Catching the stick I tossed to him

    My beautiful golden boy.

I just LOVE this one.. his eyes are so gorgeous. You can also see his crooked lower teeth. That's the treat pouch in the corner, he was pushed right up against me hoping for a treat

    More coming.

    Tasha next..

Here she is by the flower bed.

    Running...

And then the stick action began. Here she's waiting for me to throw it.

    Got it!

    More coming still.

    Pretty girl

And finally some of them both. Look at Tasha baby's face in this one

Both of them after I threw one of Tommy's logs

And that's it! I tried to pare it down to just my favorites but it ended up almost all of them were my favorite

Those are so great! Tommy looks so pretty. I love his beautiful feathered tail. And it was funny to see him carrying his log. I always love to see Tasha, of course. Those of her up in the air are so cool. I love the first one with her ears flying. She looks like a prancing horse in one. So cute. Thanks for sharing.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.

Thanks for the comments all . I had just meant to snap a few, and ended up with a good 40 shots, which I pared down to what I posted here .

I just love watching Tasha run and jump. She's so fluid in motion and it makes her so happy.

That log Tommy has is a newer one, one he hasn't totally de-barked yet. Both of them LOVE to strip the bark off of sticks and logs.

Cass, my camera is a Sony Cyber-shot (DSC-S75, I think the model is 2-3 years old now). I've read how some people don't like Sony cameras but I have always really liked ours

The way Tasha runs and jumps sooo reminds me of Mickey!

Loved the pictures! They are both so gorgeous.

Great pics k9soul! You take the best action shots! Love all the jumping ones of Tasha. You need to get that girl a frisbee.

And I just love that Tommy. I'd snatch him from ya in a second if I could.

I have thought about that before. I hadn't tried a frisbee up to this point because she has never really been truly interested in fetching other toys, like balls. She will chase after it, and sometimes pick it up, but then lose interest and drop it. I think the reason sticks grab her interest and keep it is because she simply loves to chew, strip, and break them by chomping down on them, so when she catches one or fetches one, she is immediately rewarded by getting to chomp on the stick. All I have to do to grab her interest again is pick up another and she is ready for more. In some of the pictures, you might notice little bits of bark and sticks on the ground around her. That's mostly her work. Tommy usually sticks with logs .

I thank you all again for the comments, it is such a wonderful feeling, having others admire your furkids . I think they are both beautiful, but in totally different ways from each other. Tasha is so lithe, graceful and deer-like. Tommy with his luxurient red shining coat and deep soft eyes. Oh how I love them both!
