Here are some pictures especially for...

...all of you who have requested new pictures (I'm pretty sure you know who you are )

We went for a walk tonight, and I was going to try and get some new pictures of the boys. Unfortunately, the MOSQUITOS were out with a vengeance, so I didn't get too many before we ran for cover.

Malone was heeling ever so nicely! I tried to get pictures of Em heeling, too, but it was too difficult.

And one of my favoritest blackie boy...

And one of my three favorite boys in the whole wide world

(This last one was taken in our side yard, and can you believe that lawn was mowed less than 5 days ago. Anyone volunteer to do our yardwork??)

Pam here! What neat pictures! Gosh it looks like Emerson has been with you forever. He is a "natural" next to Malone in these pictures and so attentive to your hubby! Good job on photographing a black doggie! Trust me, I know it's not easy! LOL! What cutie patooties!

Awwww, I'm in heaven...my two favorite Labby boys!

I'll do your lawnwork...but I expect lots of Malone and Emmer kisses in return. Maybe I could even bring Moose along to help out and make it a Lab trio.

Beautiful, handsome and clear pictures of the two.
Mosquitos do have a way of ruining outside fun.

Those pics are great! I think I've asked before, and, I'm sorry I keep forgetting, but, how old is Emerson? He looks so big! How much does he weigh now?

    Thanks, Dogz!

    .

Emerson is 9 months old (he was born August 6, 2003) and he weighs somewhere around 55-60 lbs. He IS a big boy, but not necessarily overweight.

    Thanks for asking.

Oh! I wasn't implying at all that he looked overweight, I hope you didn't think that. I'm just still getting comments about Finn being small, and, I just don't see it. But, he's not quite 5 months and he weighs 40 pounds. So, I wanted a bit of a comparison with another Labrador puppy! They're both so pretty! I'm hoping to get some pics of Finn up soon. It's not as easy as it used to be, but, hopefully soon....

    Thanks, Dogz!

Oh no, no! I didn't think you were implying that at all. I should have explained!

See, Malone is very skinny & lanky, whereas Emerson is short and stocky; and I can't stop comparing them. From day one, I thought Emerson was a bit chunky, even after the vet said that he was perfect. So my comment stemmed from my own thinking, not anybody else's. I hope that makes sense to you.

Gotcha. That makes perfect sense! Finn is more Malone's build. I think he's going to be tall and lean. But, there are probably more labs out there that look like Emerson. That seems to be the look that most people want. It's definitely the look of most of the ones in the show ring, from what I've seen anyway. I think they're both beautiful, just different!

    Thanks, Dogz!
