    Meowing in Sleep

    ...hehe as some of you know I got a new cat one week ago, Squeekers. I've noticed that a lot of the time while she sleeps she makes soft meows and starts to twitch!!! hehe it's so funny...I wonder if she's dreaming...?

    I sure think they dream like we do! My cats and dogs while sleeping soundly often twitch, and make all kinds of sounds. I wonder what they dream about? Hope they're happy dreams.

    Funny you should ask this .... my Griffin was just now growling in his sleep. I haven't heard him growl while awake yet .. guess the poor baby was having a baaaaaaad dream.

    Speckles does this ALL the time. She'll be sound asleep on the bed and then she'll start meowing, loud enough to wake me up!! I have no idea what she's dreaming about.

    I love it when kitties talk and twitch in their sleep. I always think they are in hot pursuit of a bird or mouse.

    That is quite possibly the cutest picture! And yes, my guys dream too. Not so much now that they're older, but they still do. Its so cute!

    Never heard mine meow in their sleep, that has to be cute. In that picture, she looks like she really crashed and burned and is totally OUT!

    I think Squeekers is having catnip dreams!!!! They are so adorable when the make noises in their sleep...I often wonder what they dream about.

    Our kitties don't meow in their sleep but the squeak and twitch. Their ears and whiskers get going and sometimes even their feet will move like they are chasing something.
    Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

    Thanks for the comments on the pic. LoL...yeah I'm quite sure she's dreaming about chasing some birds or something...she spends a good part of her day watching and talking to the birds!
