Very sad news on Uniqueviking's Beans

She's been at the vet clinic this morning. There's nothing that can be done for poor little Beans.

It's no HCM, it's her heart valves, they don't close. According to the specialist, she only has a couple of months to live, or even less. It's progressing very fast, and she's doing much worse than only two weeks ago. She could even drop dead every minute.


I was sooo hoping to hear better news from Uniqueviking today, and it's just not fair that this sweet little girl will be taken away from her so soon! She's only three and a half years old! But she was probably born with that defect already.

Uniqueviking, who is one of my best friends, will probably take a break from the internet for a while. She's devastated, as you can imagine.

I'm sorry I have no better news for you.
I'm so sad.

Oh Kirsten that's so sad. The next time you see her please give her a BIG HUG from me and tell her to give Beans some scritches from me too. Sometimes these things just happen but for Beans to be so young is nothing short of tragic. All there is left to do is for them to enjoy each other for what time is left.

Forgot to say: Beans is home with her now, and she's sleeping most of the time.
Her little heart is beating so fast now that they couldn't even count the beats per minute in the echocardiogram today...

Beans is such a special girl. She came to UV when she was almost one year old. She has been abused by her first humans, and she has been "delivered" to UV in a plastic bag... I'm glad she has eventually found such a good home! I know how much she is loved!

I am so sorry that Beans will have to leave for the bridge shortly.

But I am happy that for two and a half long years Beans knew what it was like to be loved and wanted. In Uniquevikings heart and home.
