    Grandma sage, revisited

Well, as many of you might know, after laying 6 eggs over a week's time, about 3-4 weeks ago, Milly abandoned the eggs about 4 days before the first one was due to hatch.

We started removing eggs last week, one by one, as she also decided to start nesting again!

As of yesterday, we have two new eggs, which she is diligently sitting on, along with 2 of the "old" ones (which thankfully, I marked). I guess I won't be removing any more, though, as I don't want to upset her. After this egg laying session is over, I have been instructed to remove the nest completely, which will hopefully discourage the laying instinct. Who knows, I may be a grandma yet!!!!

Logan, I hope she'll be hatching at least a few of them. Wouldn't that be nice!

We also want pics, you know!

    Oooh, good luck!

Will you be hand-feeding the chicks if there are any, or will they be parent-raised?

    Thank you Wolf_Q!

I just realize that I wrote "sage", not "saga" in the title! I swear my fingers go faster than my brain sometime!!!

Wolfchan, I know it is better if I handfeed any babies, but I'm undecided at this point. During the day, it would be next to impossible for me to do it. I'm investigating the options, just in case we have some babies this time around.

That's so exciting that Milly laid a couple more eggs! I hope they hatch!
Good luck and please post some photos of Roger and Milly.
