    Peanut: My Beautiful Princess

    Happy 1st Birthday!

    My princess Peanut left me on September 24th, 2003, today is January 1st, 2004 and I miss her terribly. When Peanut died half of my heart died. There are some days when I cannot look at my other rats or the rat cage for it brings back to many memories. I am not quite sure what made me love her as deep as I did, I think it was her one of a kind personality and attachment to me.

    Whenever I open up the cage door, I expect little Peanut to run up to the door, but she never comes anymore. Whenever I get kissed by my other rats, I always think of her, for she LOVED to give her mama kisses. When I look at the cats, I remember the times when Peanut showed them who's boss and scared them away. When I look at hooded sweatshirts it brings back memories of her nuggling in my hooded sweatshirt in my hair for hours. Needless to say, where ever I look, something brings back memories of my precious Peanut.

    I would do anything to have Peanut again. If I could, I would have 5,000,000 clones of Peanut, and give them to all the rat haters in the world...she would turn them into rat lovers, with her charming personality and spunky attitude.

    Peanut...I love you so much, and I miss you even more. I hope you are having fun, please tell Nugget, Sweet Pea, Oreo, Punkin, and Skittles I love them too. I can't wait to reunite with you! I love you.

    Aww this is a very sweet memorial! Its hard to loose the ones you love. Im so glad you loved Peanut so much because she will always be in your heart

    What a beautiful tribute to your beloved Peanut, as I read this, I was finding it hard to hold back the tears, Peanut was so special, you will never ever forget the love she gave you, and she will stay in your heart and memories forever, I bet she is looking down on you right now. Bless you sweet Peanut.

    What a wonderful tribute. I love all the pictures you posted, the one of her wearing the hat is just too cute. I'm sorry that her life was so short and she had to leave so quickly, but you were lucky to have shared that special bond with her.
