    Ally in the Kitchen

The kitchen is probably Ally's favourite room of the house, especailly when everyone is at work and school. It gets loads of sun (it has a glass conservatory at the end).

Here she is enjoying the sun on her little belly:

And here she is getting comfortable on the new table and chairs which were just delivered:

Aww, what a pretty Ally. Sending lots of rub rub rub rubs for that fluffy tummy!!

What a good girl you are to test the new furniture and make sure it is up to standard and safe for your family to use. Helpful Ally!

Awww. She is so cute. She just wants to test the chairs for you as well as getting her lovely fur on them for you. What is a meal with out a little kitty fur on the seat?

.....on the seat AND in the food! I keep telling my hubby that cat hair is a condiment - unFURtunately he remains unconvinced!

Jen, you KNOW it won't match the rest of the furniture in the house until it has been "cat-haired"!

The furniture is now officially yours! or hers???
We were recently burglarized and I told the police that anything they found with cat hair on it was MINE! They do leave their mark!

Beautiful belly pic! How cute is that???

AWWWWW! How precious! You know, Ally looks like a TOTAL Middle Eastern cat. Are the cats there a different breed? I'm asking because all the cats I've seen in that part of the world have a similar build to Ally. Beautiful cat!

Does she REALLY enjoy the hot hot sun of Bahrain? Or is it beginning to cool down a bit?

    PCB,

They ARE different. They are specially designed to handle the extreme heat! Here is a great article about them (I think Steffi N originally forwarded the link to me):

Also here is a pic of a few of them in my garden:

As you can see, Ally does not have the traditional Dilmun colouring - she must have some domestic blood somewhere in her heritage. The true Dilmuns blend into the desert so well you can't see them unless they move! Such a pity their bloodline in being diluted by breeding with strays - at least The Cat Society here is doing what they can to get the Dilmun recognized as a breed in it's own right!

And yes, Ally loves to lie in the sun, even when it is over 100 F she will be found in a patch of sunshine, waiting for a belly rub!

BTW she says THANKS to Killearn Kittens's Meowmie for the belly rub
