Chevy did not get adopted yesterday so new pictures today

Chevy and Bonnie went to adoption days yesterday. They had NO adoptions. How discouraging. but at least they got to come home again.

And this is me saying good bye in case he did not come home again.

I can't believe he was not adopted. He is sooooooo cute. I would take him in a heartbeat.

Jen that picture with you saying goodbye to Chevy is a tearjerker.
I don't know how you do it.

I'm amazed that he didn't get adopted. If I weren't well over the feline limit I'd drive across the country and scoop him up myself. He's one of the prettiest kittens I've ever seen.

(But I'm also glad he didn't get adopted yet because I want to see more pictures. )

By the way, doesn't the marking on his left side in the second photo look like Mickey Mouse?

You are right! And the reason I am is because from the day he came into my life I have been calling him Mickey. I can't explain why. I would not choose that name (a bit too common for my taste) but I just ALWAYS called "Mickey" by mistake, so I decided not to fight it. (He is Chevy for the organization's records, but he is Mickey to me)

    He's sweet!

He's got a lot of eye liner on! Gives his eyes a lot of definition.

I hope his people find him.

Jen, it's so true, how hard it is giving up fosters, but you're saving lives with every tear you shed.

It's going to get hard giving up my Orangina after having her for almost two months. (except for the fact that Mr. Jones routinely packs her bags for her and puts them on the stoop)

He is too cute not to be adopted and Bonnie too. People are probably going on vacations and so this may be a slow period for adoptions. On the other hand Timmmy gets a playmate, you get to keep Mickey and sweet Bonnie a spell longer and we get to see cute pics.

He is adorable. No idea why he wasn't adopted. But maybe you're not too unlucky to have him around for some time

I bet it won't be long before he's adopted. What a beauty!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

I wonder if Disney would adopt him to be a spokes-cat.

    Email them a pic.

You look like a Chevy to me....

When the Humane Society used to take the kitties to Petsmart we found the same thing. In the Summer, the adoptions seemed to drop off. On the other hand, the exposure was great. There were several occasions that someone would come in to adopt and told us that a friend was there the other week and told them about the kitty. Word of mouth travels fast.

    Looking forward to meowmore pictures......

(oops, that's baby talk again..... )
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
