Quinn, a really LARGE maine coon

Quinn is the great-great-great grandfather of my boy Wylie. this is a real picture- I saw him 2 years ago when I picked up my kitten.
He is silly and also very gentle with his 'kids' who he likes to play with! He is beautiful too:

well, my kitty (Wylie) is about 17-18 lbs. now and still growing. they say maine coons keep gaining until about 3 yrs old or so.
I'm not sure exactily how much his grandaddy (Quinn) weighs, but I know it's well up into the 20's. He is just a HUGE cat, even by M. coon standards

    Quinn and Wylie are beautiful!

Yorkster, we don't see you around here enough these days.

At the last cat show that Sara and I went to, there was a HUGE all white Maine Coone. He weighed 25 lbs and he was almost busting out of his cage.

I wanted to get a picture of him but his owner had an attitude I didn't like so I said the heck with it. He was beautiful though, and looked like a big huge teddy bear.

Oh, and knowing that the Coones get so big is what makes me know that Peanut is not a purebred. She's lucky if she weighs 8 lbs these days much less 18. And I know females are smaller, but she would be dwarfed if she sat next to Quinn.

I wish I had more time for PT right now- just been really busy for awhile. I had to limit myself for a bit because I spent too much time on it for awhile- it's addicting!
