Mom, Can I have left overs?

This morning I was in a rush to make lunch and before I took Kia outside to go potty, I heard a muffled mew.

I started calling for Zam and Kia went to the fridge and barked.

I opened it up and Zam jumped out!

My fridge is so full I didn't even see her get in.

Me thinks I need to clean it out. I bet Zam will help me.

And I thought I was bad when I closed Ashley in our bedroom closet for 3 hours the other day.

Luckily, I have not done much to Nakita in ways of locking by mistake somewhere. But I'm sure at some point in the future something similar will take place!

LOL HaleyRosie! Great pic! I read your thread. Zam gets up on the fridge door too! I'm taking the work camera home tonight and hopefully I'll get pics.

Not to mention the lack of oxygen! So glad she got out before you left!

This is one of the basic rules here: If you leave make sure you know where both cats are. Nevertheless Tigris managed to spend hours in the closet. Usually he sleeps on the underwear

    Good Kia! Bad Zam!

I'm so glad you found her before you left.

I, too, usually make sure I know where they both are before I leave. I usually do this by giving them one last smooch and saying goodbye to them individually.

Miss Hoppy is afraid of getting stuck in places. The first thing she does in an "new" place is go in, then make sure she can get out. THEN she will commence exploration. Although she know that the fridge is where veggies come from, she has never tried to get in - she is too afraid to get stuck anywhere, and there's not an alternate exit to the fridge!

She will, however, in emergencies, nudge her empty plate toward the refrigerator, even if to do so she has to dump off what we thought was good food that we just put on it@
