    meow...meow...meow

This was Buddy on Saturday morning at 6:30 a.m.! I had planned on sleeping in. However, he was having no part of it. I hear this meow, meow, meow. Next he's up on the bed, head bump. Meow, meow, meow. I say hi Bubba (that is one of the many nicknames he has). This happened a couple times and then I tried to drift back to sleep. Next....

I hear something strange and I roll over to see him on top of my dresser which is full of things he can knock down and also where he KNOWS he is not supposed to be. (This was one of the things he did many years ago to get me out of bed. He would get onto the dresser and I would see his little paw tapping things onto the floor) I say Bubba! Get down! A meowrrrrr...and he jumps down.

    I give up.

I get up, give him his dry food and make my morning coffee. Life was good, I had tons of things to get done on the weekend.

However...this morning...when I HAVE to get up, where do you think he is? No where to be found and my alarm clock which I bought at Dollar General for like $5.00 is malfunctioning. So I am up an hour late and rushing around to get ready.

    I do love him though.
Head bumpies and purrs and even the distressed meows. I couldn't live without them.

Dear Buddy ... Cassie thinks you did excellent work! I think this is very similar to what happens at my house . Please have your mum give you a hug from us! (for Tink and Mama Kitty too)

When Sparkle is hungry, there is no place to hide!

If I am in bed, the night table is cleared of items.

If I am sitting here in the Family Room, either on the laptop (like now) or watching TV, the top of the entertainment center gets cleared. I MOVE before the stereo has even gone over the edge!

Oh this made me laugh. So this is typical cat behavior.

pssst... Buddy... Cassie here... I've found that the "wake up and feed me game" is just as much fun at 5 AM as it is at 6:30 I also do it at a little different time each morning to mess with my food lady's head. She knows I am usually hungry between 5:30 and 6 AM- so sometimes I call her a little earlier. Keeps it interesting. When she puts on her glasses and switches on the lamp, I know I have the upper paw. When she sits up and says, "Okay - what?" I know I've won!

Buddy, I understand completely. Hoomans don't get it. Right now there's something called "air conditioning" on so the windows are closed. No wonder I get confused! The windows are supposed to be open and the birdies singing so I know when to get my purrents up. How can I help it if I get the time a little wrong?

    Call me; we'll chat.

Hi Buddy! I start working on mine at about 4:00am! She thinks I don't need to eat breakfast before 5:00am. She's wrong, of course, as we all know.

You're doing good work! Keep at it.

I am sure Buddy will take all of the highly valuable information into thought. Thanks for that!

Buddy knows all about the glasses. I used to always just put my glasses on the nightstand until he came along years ago. I learned very quickly that I needed to get a glasses case and keep it near or under my pillow. I spent too many mornings searching for my glasses under the bed and I am VERY blind without my glasses.

What they don't understand is, food is to be provided at Food O'Clock.

And the cat, NOT the attendant, is the one who determines just when that comes along in the humans' local time zone.

Yea they don't get that do they. However, I guess if their bellies are growling they are forced to meow about it.

Wait a minute...I doubt my guys ever have growling bellies because their bowls always have food in them.

Oh! That is what it is. There is a special count/number of pieces that have to be in the bowl. Thank you for clearing that up Diamond.

I just get stared at. Coco starts it, then the rest sidle next to him and follow suit. It's funny but also kinda creepy, seeing 4 pairs of eyes just staring. No one meows or moves, just stares.
    Blessings,
    Mary

Dear Buddy-- You inspired me! I got my food lady to turn on the lamp and put on her glasses at 5:47 this morning! That was a little earlier than yesterday, just to keep her on her toes.

Dear Diamond, I will have to try this with my food lady! She is slow to top up my dry food sometimes. Thank you for the idea!
