    April Fool's Thursday #372.

    LOL,

I was going to play a practical joke on everyone by proclaiming this as the Last Thursday...I was going to make it look like the bar was going to close....
But, there is a religious holy day that happens on the Thursday before Easter Suday and even I have some semblance of shame and religious fear in my soul.

    With that?

I think some refreshing minty juleps and a nice ham dinner would be in order.

    -----------

I remember an Easter where my dad and mom were in a hurry to get to the picnic we were going to. My dad was trying to hurry things along and my mom dropped the ham she had cooked just outside the front gate.

Boy, that was a day to remember!

Ham, taters, mixed veggies, warm rolls, real butter, gravy and a nice salad on the side.

    DONE!

MMMM sounds yummy! My mother would always make a homemade Russian brew for Easter called Kvass - it's sort of like a sweetened beer. Seeing as this is a virtual bar and the alcohol won't harm me, I'll have a nice mug o' Kvas!

LOL, I don't remember exactly what happened afterwards. I do remember my mom saying she was not going and somehow the ham got washed off.

No, there was no side dishes on the side walk....

I was laughing and I didn't separate the menu from my memories!

I need a good slapstick joke to play on my co-workers. I think tomorrow I will call, pretend I am a new patient and confuse them with a strange name and accent.
Does anyone have any good ideas for Dr's office pranks?

    Apple juice 'specimens'.

You fill a cup and 'sample' the goods.

walk into the office and say someone left a cup and a note. pretend to smell then taste it.

I don't know any good Dr.'s office pranks but I'd like some of that ham dinner please. Maybe that will help me feel better. I caught LH's cold and I feel cruddy, but not as bad as he did when he was sick. I don't even have a puppy to keep me warm. She's in with LH. And Trillian, my cat is probably sleeping on my daughter's bed.
RIP Lady, Thursday's won't be the same without you to cuddle with by the fire

The kvas sounds yummy and festive! and hows about a sliced ham sandwich with a little bit of front yard crunch?

I work for an eye doc so even though your idea is brillant Richard it does not apply. I think I will call and disguise my voice like a little itty bitty deaf and batty ole lady and try and make a very confusing appointment. It's my day off but that won't stop me from having fun with them.

First it was Pepsi, now you are making fun of the vegetarians here in Lost Angeles?

Kvas, a ham sandwich and FYC!

    DONE!

    MG,

Grab a papertowel and put something red on it, Hold it up to your face/eye and walk into the back office.

Then say something about gouging your eye out so you could spend your day off with your co-workers?

    NO heading into THAT direction.

I heard a funny line similar to yours, the other day on the tube.

Someone was doing an interview and the topic went to racism.

The guest told a story of how a black man walked into a bar in the south, took a seat, and waited to give his order.

The bartender came up and told him, "I'm sorry, we do not serve black people here..."

THe guy looked at him and said, "That's O.K., I wasn't planning on ordering one!"

    Refill?

    DONE!
