My sis came to pick up some letters and as she was walking out the gate she asked me to come out and look at the chimney 'steps'. The chimney has a set of steps built into it and I have had the fireplace going for three days!
So, I wonder what the attraction is?

You can feel the radiant heat from the fire if you put your hand on the outside bricks.
There is a little lip that runs around the base of the fireplace and I see the kittehs hanging out there all the time.
The cat that wants in is Toonces, the original yellow kittie.
He follows me all about talking to me.
It's the funniest thing, I talk, he answers!

We talk about him mostly and I ask how he is, what he is doing and spend the rest of the time scolding.
I turn around and I see a yellow antenna rushing out from underfoot!

My Cats sometimes go into the cellar and sit on the heating pipes.
They always so look contented.
And I know that you like I are older and are reluctant to take another Cat in , but these Toonces sounds very special.
Maybe he could be an Indoor/Outdoor Cat.
That would be way cool White Edster and Yellow Toonces!!!

uhh, I guess are the NKs...The closest cat in the pic is Miss Kitty, named after the character in the western, Gunsmoke.
They really do not stray, the sound of a can of catfood will bring them running!
