I don't know if any of you remember Rorie, who was pet of the day on February 9th ( http://petoftheday.com/archive/2002/February/09.html )...but...she died recently, the poor darling. She had an inoperable mammary tumor that just grew and grew and basically ate her up. At least it never seemed to bother her, and the night before the morning my parents found her dead, she was eating (she would only eat her favorite foods towards the end, but she'd gobble them happily) and grooming herself and wanting to play.
(Kini died back in May; she had diabetes, and I don't think my parents were careful enough about her diet while I was away at school.)

I remember the little cuties very well. Please accept my condolences on your loss. I know they were very much loved on this earth and are now gracing the Rainbow Bridge with their beautiful spirits. RIP precious Rorie and Kini.
