My first wedding as a hired photographer.

The wedding I did pictures for went AMAZING. I'm so happy with how the pictures turned out. Here's a few of my favorites. Meet Sami and Greg.

I realy dont want to be a downer here because those are great pitures.

But since they paid you to take the pics, dont they own them?

ETA: Are those digital or film?

Should have specified, lol. I wasn't paid -- pro bono, basically. It was a very low-cost wedding and they couldn't afford to pay me, and I'm not concerned at all. It was my first "big gig" and it was really fun.

    He spikes his hair now...

Schmutty... she had a problem with her eye for a while and lost a lot of the hair around it, but she's fine now. (notice her nails are painted )

See my little man with his hands "scoped" around his eyes? He was trying to find us in the audience, lol.

Here he is in the play, "The Grouchy Ladybug"... he was the Grouchy Ladybug...

    Scopey eyes again... lol.

    That's all!

    Great photos!

Our wedding photographer did digitals and we purchased the CD from her so we could print our own.

Here's a link to her site:

Unless a signed contract between photographer and subject says otherwise, then all pictures by a photographer are automatically copyrighted to the photographer (in the US anyways). Use of those pictures would depend on the particular contract (ie; commercial, personal, portfolio, advertisement etc). Posting on the internet is considered 'publishing' to my knowledge.

Here's a good site of semi pro, wanna be pro, and actual pro photographers on a message board forum. There's weeks worth of reading there for suggestions, advice, etc. from the business end of photography. There's alot more to it than many people think.
