I am at home, return to work next week.. I had the nicest surprise for my Birthday this year. Day before yesterday I got a phone call from a old friend from Florida, 30-40 year friend. When I asked what she was doing, she said she was in RIE'S driveway!! (Rie and family are on vacation) so I gave her directions to get to my house and she came over.. She spent 3 days and 2 nights here with me.. One of the things we have in common is we both LOVE KFC so we had to go and she paid for it since my birthday was so close.. As we were leaving, there was a district manager there that asked us if we enjoyed our meal and we told them the story of our almost life long friendship and love for KFC and that there was a time when we ate it every single day and how many states we have been to eat KFC in. We bragged and bragged about the food at the one we were at and how friendly the people there always are to me... Please and tickled with what we had to say, he handed us TWO FREE coupon meal tickets!!! Today before she left we went and had another KFC meal for my birthday!! I wanted to cry when she left.. I really missed her... it's been years since we have spent that much time together, since 2001!!
SO, YES!! I had a WONDERFUL birthday.. I will even post a picture she took of me before she left with her camera...
This is the new Mini me after 3 years of working to loose weight. Total weight loss....= 50 pounds now.. Taken TODAY!
Then I came here to catch up and found THIS! Ahhhhh! Life just don't get any better! THANKS to all my friends, cyber and everyday ones. Rie even called from Colorado to wish me happy birthday....
