    New addition

Tomorrow I am picking up a shepherd mix after work. She used to be abused and was originally rescued by my aunt, but my aunt is going through some situations and does not have the time to put into the dog anymore, so we're going to see how she does at our house. Just a test run this weekend and if she does alright at our house she will stay. Wish us luck.

I forget the full name of the dog, but she's called Ney for short.

Naeli (who thought of this name?) is here!! She's fitting in perfectly, just a little timid. I need to find my digital camera program cd so I can get pictures. Then you guys can debate whether or not she looks full-blood belgian shepherd or not. I think she's 99% malinois.

Autumn has never been so jealous of another dog. She has been sulking, barking, pushing her way in front to be closest to me. I lifted Nae up on the bed to see if she'd lay down nice, and Autumn gave the highest pitch yap of protest I'd ever heard come out of her. Nae had to sleep in the kennel though because she wants to stand and watch the rats all night, she wants to play with them. This is the first night in the whole summer that Autumn stayed on the bed the whole time. I always try to get her too, but she gets too hot.

Wallace couldn't care less. He tried humping her but she put him in his place with a good sized bark. He's needed a dog who will teach him not to do that.

As for the cats, Smokey is irate at the idea of us bringing in another dog. Mischeif thinks its another playmate. And Kayleigh is indifferent. She seems to understand that all animals are welcome here regardless of her opinions of them.
