    Late Spring flowers

I posted the Early flowers in a thread a while back. This is what we have open now.

Double tulip (I think this is 'angelique')

    Purple tulip

Hot pink tulip with blue and yellow inside

    Flowering almond

I call this shrub "Hairy Harry." He reminds me of one of the Muppets! Andhe needs a 'trim."

Few more to come next post!

    Front garden shots:

That is Sparkle in the window.

The early rhododendrons are open now. We don't put many Spring flowers in the back garden as it always floods back there with the Spring downpours and the bulbs just rot. That area has the summer plantings, as we sit out that a LOT in summer.

    Lovely!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

I'm so jealous of all your pretty flowers. I just love the purple tulips. I wish flowers like that could grow down here and that I had the green thumb to keep them alive.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
