Snowstorm Pictures

Here are pictures I took later this morning and late this afternoon of the snow that fell and I have shovelled most of today. Around 8 to 10 inches fell,a little freezing rain,gusty wind blowing off the roofs and causing drifts .Last year at this time,it was in 40's and 50's with rain,hardly any snow that month.I was the most snow that has fell in December here in 30 years.I did around our place 3 times and two others.I will have to clean ours up a bit tomorrow plus the other two.

Wow, yup that is what it looked like here as well. We got the 11 inches on Thursday; last night was another 4.5 inches BUT it rained all day today so a lot has melted. Still plenty though and now it is iced solid and slippery!

Dad took the snow blower around back and made a few paths for the dogs to go do their business; we can't easily let them out front as they can get right out to the street. They are enjoying the paths! He made one big square and then did one path across one corner, so they have a bit of a maze to wander around.

That's what it looked like at our house too. The wind was terrible.

Got allot of snow here too.

There might be a chance of another storm here this Sunday.

I don't mind, I'd have it snowing every single day.. it's beautiful!

Of course I must remind everyone please leave food out for the birds,

It's very hard for them to find some food in storms.

Barry the pictures are beautiful but it makes my back hurt just thinking about shoveling. We had a rain event here in South Jersey. It rained and rained and rained. If it had been colder I would have some nice snow pictures to post but it was all rain. The winds were amazing. One gust last night registered 58 mph according to the news.
