Reggie Throwing Up *update, on 2nd page*

Ok guyes, before i say anything, I cant take her to the vet! I had to borrow $10 to buy a water bottel for my gerbil. So here is the story, my dog has been throwing up all morning and she wont stop. Im starting to get annoyed and worried at the same time.

Do you know if she got into anything? Did she get any new table scraps? Did she eat anything new? What is the vomit like, digested dog food, yellow bile, or like poop? Is she still drinking water?

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

My advice, obviously, is to take her to a vet. I would phone several vets and explain the situation. It doesn't sound good. As small as she is she needs to stay hydrated. What do you feed her?

Also, try to get her to drink as often as possible. Don't give her any dog food. Give her chicken or beef broth, low sodium. Rest her stomach for 18 hours or so, other than water and broth. If she cannot hold down water and broth, she needs to see a vet right away. If she develops any pain she needs to see a vet right away. If she is not using the bathroom she may have a blockage.

If she can hold down broth and water, gradually start her back on boiled rice and hamburger or chicken, mixed. You can cook the rice with broth to make it more appealing. Feed her small amounts at a time for the next couple of days and gradually transition her back onto normal food.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

You let your dog throw up all day then wait until 5:00 to post on a website? That doesn't make sense to me.

Just what exactly kind of "help" are you wanting? You've been given advice, there is nothing any of us can do over the internet, we are not vets here. If your dog is sick, take her to the vet. A lot of your posts seem suspiciously "baiting" in nature.

I know you have already said you cannot afford the vets, but This dog needs to go to the vets!! There is nothing here anyone can tell you, that is going to stop your dog from Continuing to throw up! The dog is obviously sick, if it has been throwing up all day! Please figure something out and take the dog to a vet! Have you checked with any shelters, for low cost vet care?? There has to be someone around that can help out, even if it is borrowing the money from family or friends!

Beg, borrow or steal, that dog needs veterinary attention. There's nothing we can do over the internet for her. I hope you can find a solution as soon as possible.

Glad I'm not the only one who has noticed this.

Take your dog to the vet, she needs medical attention. She could possibly be dehidrated by now.
