    Introducing Tehya...many pics..

The little ball of cuteness arrived this afternoon!

She came into the shop where she met the other dogs in small groups. Chum was afraid of her! Bandit told her in no uncertain terms that he does not play with puppies and she better leave his collection of gloves in the shop alone. She speaks good dog and Bandit's message was received loud and clear! The others mainly just sniffed her and moved on to whatever else it is huskies do all day!

She is so little! There's nothing to her! She might weigh 25 pounds!

Heyoka's head weighs more than Tehya's whole body!

    She is a cutie patootie!

    more coming....

She needed to burn off some energy so she went into Pacer's pen for awhile. Pacer was on the couch! Anvik joined her as he needed to stretch his legs too!

It was love at first woo!

I have never seen Anvik play like this with another dog.

    They had a great time!

Anvik may have found his soulmate!

    Gotcha, big guy!

Hiding in the doghouse won't work! She can still find him!

    still more coming....

"Hey, what about him? Can I play with that dog too?"

Anvik needed to go inside before he got frostbite, so Mac took over the puppy entertainment duties.

    She does love to run!

Even in snow that's really too deep for her little legs!

She's very curious and can be very focused. The border collie in her becomes quite obvious when she's watching something!

She's a love! She wants to cuddle and would like to be a lap dog.

Currently she's in her crate for the night. She's exhausted. It's been a busy day for a little dog! She is smart as a whip. She knows sit and down. She knows off, but generally chooses not to do it. She likes to jump and give hugs. I'll teach her to do it on command like Anvik does. I don't mind jumping dogs if I see it coming!

She has shown her husky side as well. I put her in with Sundin while I made dinner. I can see his pen from the kitchen. She escaped as soon as she was done introducing herself to Sundin. I didn't see her get out, but I suspect she went through the fence. His pen is made with game fencing that has large holes in the top few layers. I think Tehya could fit through and there are a few climbing things in his pen that she could have used to get high enough!

Fortunately, she let herself into the big yard, not out of the property! I found her running and playing like she'd been a pack dog her whole life. She is going to be a handful, but she'll fit in here just fine!

I don't know how I missed the original intro, but she is too cute! I'm glad that Tehya found her home with you! Add another page to that future book, this one might need to be titled puppy love.

You and Stewart are the best!

Not only do I love looking at your photos, I enjoy the commentaries related to your events and reports. I think you should have a blog of your own......maybe you do!

Tamara, I never miss a post of yours, hoping to find as many photos attached as humanly possible. Your camera and "your camera eye" are the best. You live in the most beautiful country, and so, I really think you are the top on my list of Pet Talkers here.

Not to mention your heart and dedication to your pets. I guess Stewart should be included although he doesn't keep us informed as you do!

I cannot get enough of your posts.

I think I threatened to move in to your home a while back and that threat still goes. I will wait until spring to arrive.

Tehya is an incredibly beautiful little girl, Tamara. I love her markings and especially the little spot on her head. It seems she's fitting right in. She looks so happy. She's found her heaven on earth. You and Stuart are something else. I can't say it enough. Welcome to PT Pretty Tehya!!

That last photo, she looks like she has the whole world figured out. She looks brilliant and so much fun!!! And I think it's plain she realized immediately that she'd been rescued and has now found heaven. I'll bet you were beside yourself when you saw Anvik and her together, that's so awesome! Congratulations on your newest addition, she is spectacular.

    She is Beautiful!
    I just loooove her patches!

The pic of her kissing you is just Priceless! I think it's safe to say that, that big wet sloppy kiss was a big "Thank You" from her to you!

Now if you'll excuse me... I have to go back and look at the pictures again!

Welcome Tehya! Wow, she is a really, really gorgeous dog! Looks like she's bringing some "puppy energy" to your pack! Congratulations to you & Stuart, & your friend who rescued her from that nasty kill shelter - ya did good!

She is SO beautiful!!! And I believe some one predicted that her and Anvik would hit it off in your original post about her. Boy were they right??

I love the picture of her and Heyoka together. That is adorable!

I cannot wait to see more pictures of her and all of the other dogs!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
