    corn cob

I hadn't done the dishes yet for today and my daughter got ahold of yesturdays corn cob. I was going to do the dishes while she is taking a nap (now) and I come out to Runner eating an empty corn cob. It's the half pieces. Will it hurt her? I coudn't get to her in time because I didn't know she had it till it was too late.

I have seen a blockage happen with corn cob, so if it was me, I'd take it away.

    Thank you Wolf_Q!

I would take it away. A little bit would probably be fine- but Dr.Goodnow is right- it will come out as it went in- in pieces.. Corn is basically non digestable in dogs and leaves bulk in the stool.
Look for any signs of distress- panting- drooling, trying to go to the bathroom and cant- straining or distended belly. ..

She seems fine. I coudn't take it away. I didn't give it to her. I don't know where she got it. My daughter climbed up and got to it, where Runner found it I dunno lol. My kitchens clean now though
