Bostonian FOUND adult orange & white cat

Here's her story and her contact info - if you can help her, please contact her directly rather than triangulating through me or the board!

I have a good friend who's mom was just given 2-4 months to live, brain and lung cancer. Her mom has always wanted an orange and white cat. My friend wants to make her mom's remaining time as lovely as possible, so wants to find her dream cat - they already had a sweet little dog and another cat, as well as horses, this is a pet friendly home.

She called the local shelter in search of an adult orange and white cat, and, because she was distressed when she was speaking to the shelter, gave the impression that when her mom dies she would bring the cat back, that she only wants the cat on a loan. This isn't the case - she wants a cat she will love, but she needs it soon so her mom can love it too, but the shelter didn't understand her, and has now sent out the word to other shelters that she is looking for a short term cat.

Does anyone know of an adult orange and white cat that needs a loving, permanent home?
