not even 48 hours into 2007...

I have been bitten by the cat
    spilled gravy on his head
put peanut butter on the edster's fur
    kicked the water dish over
    stepped into spilled water
    Been slept on
    stepped on.
had cat arse rubbed in my face
tail whipped while in the recliner
looked for an escaped cat and picked up cat treats dumped on the floor....

    Happy New Year???

    I've been...

    Ignored...
    Awakened...
    Stepped on...
    Slept against...
    Head-bumpied...
    Elevator-butt-ized...
Meowed at (Mom, you're just a stupid human! Learn to speak CAT!)...

Life with a cat is very good.

Edster, whatever happened that you started out '07 wearing gravy and peanut butter?

Well, if you had put gravy on my head and peanut butter in my fur, I may have bitten you too!!!

I do hope you caught the escaped cat!!! He was probably just wanting to see if 2007 looked different than 2006.
No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

Never a dull moment with Our Friends Richard and The Edster.
Its a shame that they cannot be booked on Letterman.
Does he still do the Pet Tricks segment.
I hope Edster is teflon proofed if you are going to spill food on him.

    Today I have

Cleaned, washed and refilled 3 litter boxes......
    Fed 5 hungry felines.....
    Went in seach for Advantage....
    Treated all with Advantage...
    Now I got 5 pi**ed off cats...
None will look at, acknolage I am here or allow me near them...
So, I am sweeping up cat fur and dragging my luggage out to the rental car..

Since New Years Eve I have...

Spoiled my babies rotten with Turkey and Giblets dinner...
    ...And breakfast...
    ...and most likely lunch....
Got CLover insanely dizzy with the new Lazer that we just got working today
And had a kitty sliding around on our nice hard wood floors
had a nice kitty conversation with both my babies ("mew?" "mew!" "meeeeow..." "Prrrreow?")
Had a big kitty cuddle fest on the living room couch and my bed that morning
had a kitty poke her head into the shower and get a nose of wet
Had to pry two kitty sisters away from each other because the baby baby was crying because of the big sister,
had a kitten sleeping on my face
Aaaand... a kitten attacking the keyboardjiuihjkghdeawh....

    ^Boyfriend^.....^Me!^...............^Clover^...... ........^Echo^

Awwwwww! You guys are so lucky! I would give ANYTHING to do any of that stuff. I haven't been on since Chuck's memorial.

Count your blessings. What I wouldn't give to clean up a hairball, or lint roller my shirt again. LOL!

I have heard whispers around the house of a new kitty soon. I think they are gonna suprise me soon! Wheeeeee! I can't wait!

    Miss you guys!

gravy on the head could be from a head bump while dinner was being spooned into a bowl....but peanut butter needs more clarification....oh eddddd?

Since the first day of 2007 my cat has...

Woken me up many hours of the night..
Meowed as loud as a lion in the middle of the night..
Got annoyed at me in bed cause I wasn't getting to sleep..
    Knocked over my jewelry case..
    knocked over treats..
    Begged for treats..
    Jumped on my computer keyboard..
    Snotted in my bed..
    And finally..Almost made me trip..

Sorry, but I think I've got you all beat. I've been woken up by a cat peeing on my head! Ok, ok, so it wasn't exactly ON my head, but it was as close to being on my head without being on my head as you could get! It was the only place on the bed that wasn't covered by the shower curtain. She had the ENTIRE bed to pee on - protected by the shower curtain - but no, she has to pee right on my head.

In 4 days of the New Year, I have had:
Pouncer being sweet... honest to goodness!
one feline "outed" as my bad pooper cat (no, it was NOT Allen! )
Abby give me the cold shoulder (who is by the way, the bad pooper cat)
    stepped on Flutter
    and fell on Pouncer
    received several headbumpies
been sat on, jumped on, and peed on (by a hooman baby though, so I guess that doesn't quite count )
