Barkley, not only are you almost our neighbor, but our Mom says you have the same fear of thunder/rain as Delilah. Just this morning at 2 a.m. it was raining and Mom couldn't forget Delilah jumping on top of her chest, waking her from a sound sleep. Our Mom says she can really relate to you Barkley. We both have lived in Florida all of our lives too. What a handsome gentleman you are Sir Barkley!! A perfect mix of two wonderful breeds! We love that charming, smiley, face of yours sweetie!! You look like the sweetest big lug in town We're very sad to hear you were abused in your earlier life. What a horrid thing for any precious baby to endure. No wonder you don't like men. Barkley, we think abusive people are despicable and oh how we would love to give them some of their own medicine. The good thing is, Barkley, now you have a wonderful life with a family that loves you. Now you know what it's like to be loved and appreciated and that certainly makes us happy We wish you continued happiness with your loving human bed buddy and we really hope you can develop a lasting relationship with Rick. Congrats to you sweet boy on your big day. Enjoy yourself immensely and it's sure been a pleasure meeting you.

Barkley, I could tell just by looking at your picture that you are full of personality and sweetness . What a cool mix you are, I just love your unique looks! My girl Tasha can relate to your fear of thunderstorms and your distrust of most men. Of course, living in Florida you have a lot of thunderstorms to deal with, but I know your beloved human will keep you safe from harm . Yes it's obvious you love your special person with all your heart, and I can't think of many gifts more precious than the unconditional love of a very special canine like you!

Overall, Barkley is a lovable and faithful companion. My companion.

I love you" I can see much of my red Siberian Husky Cody in you and then again, a bit of my Labbie Star, too Like my Cody, you had a rough start in life; abuse and neglect. And like her, you came to your human with some understandable fears; fears of men, thunder, perhaps abandonment But you found your way to that perfect foreveR family Barkley, a guardian who will help you to overcome your fears, who will love and protect you today, tomorrow, forever and always I'm SO very happy for you both! I'm sorry to hear that you had a rough start in life but it sounds like your getting all the love and attention you need, no one being mean to you now....that's for sure

Those storms can scare us all a little (specially living in FL where there are lots of hurricanes ) but you know just who to go to now don't you

Thank you. BTW, I should of mentioned that he thinks he's a human. For example, when we leave the house, our dogs have their own 500 sq ft room to hang out in, complete with couches, a bed, Etc. Anyway, whenever we say: "Ok puppies, time to go in your room," he tries to disregard what we said. XD
