    Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah meet?

I'm just seeing if there's any interest in a meeting somewhere in the middle of these states- maybe northwestern Colorado?

I know that these states are huge, so it would be a lot of driving, but if there's any interest we could try to find someplace that would work for everyone.

Maybe in the spring? Post if you would be interested!

Where do you both live in Montana? Maybe Wyoming would be the best place to meet...

We could meet on Memorial Day Weekend, and have our own picnic!

I would be interested, though I'm not sure how far of a road trip I could do, it would depend on how far and who I could get to go with me. I live in the Provo/Orem area of Utah if that gives you any idea. I'm not sure if I'm going to school next semester or not, but in case I am, it would work better after that's over...so late May/June or so.

Hey I think everyone should come over here at the end of May for Strut Your Mutt too.

I live in the NW corner of Montana 60 miles from the Canadian border.

    That sounds like fun, too!

NW Wyoming would be sort of in the middle, but I don't really know of any good spots to meet. Anyone familiar with it?

I'm not sure, there's Yellowstone/Grand Tetons but they are not very dog friendly in the National Parks...Jackson is fairly dog friendly though. The only PTer I can think of that lives in Wyoming is Twisterdog, maybe she would know of a good place?

Yellowstone/Teton is not dog friendly at all. I board a lot of dogs for people traveling that way.

I think we should all meet in MY town. Then I can actually go.

I'm in south-western Wyoming. About five hours from Pembroke and about 3 hours from Wolf Q. It is almost the middle between SLC and Denver. (Well, Rawlins is technically the middle, but there's not much in Rawlins.) Of course, that's further from the Montana folks. If you want to go further north west in Wyoming, there's Thermopolis, which has fun hot springs. There's Cody, which has a big, nice western museum. But, that will add another 4 - 6 hours onto the drive for the Utah/Colorado folks.

South western Wyoming would be great if they have a good place to meet. Also, if it's not too far for the Montana people.

    What about memorial day weekend?

Define "good place". LOL NOTHING like what Colorado has, that's for sure! I live in Rock Springs, which is about 20K people. So, of course, it has plenty of hotels and such. No dog parks, technically, but there's a fenced park that is pretty much the de facto dog park.

It's pretty far for Montana people, though. A good twelve hours is they're in near the border.

Memorial Day is fine with me. I own a boarding kennel so I NEVER leave town.

A good place to meet would have to have an enclosed, safe area for the dogs (Marta cannot be trusted off leash and I'm pretty sure if I remember correctly Nebo can't either) and have some place to stay, like a campground or dog-friendly hotel near by.

I'd also like it to be close enough so everyone who wants to could attend!

That's not being too picky, is it?
