From the front page of our local newspaper..... "Paige's mother,....., objects to free health care for illegal immigrants. Recalling her own financial burden after a pregnancy, ....said, "Here I am making $100-a-month payments and I'm fully insured, and my illegal nanny has her baby totally for free."
Let's parse this statment. She is "fully insured".... I assume that means either she or her husband is offered medical coverage by their employer. Therefore, the family's medical expenses are primarily paid for by the employer, the other individuals covered by that insurance company, and the federal and state governments (employer are given a tax break on $ spent on employee healthcare.)
Can we assume she does not offer healthcare to her illegal nanny? Do you think she pays her illegal nanny minimum wage? overtime? Pays into FICA, Workers' Comp, etc for her illegal nanny?
Instead of being arrested and thrown into jail, this lawbreaking criminal is complaining on the front page of the newspaper.
The "financial burden of $100-a-month payments."
I wonder what she pays her illegal nanny??????
