    Yay! Finally Yellow!

    I finally found a yellow betta. His name is Breezy. I know his fins are a bluish color ,but he IS still yellow! If you look behind him you can see two of my females, Brooke and Holly. And to the upper right of him a few of my neon tetras.

    not really. i think they are more popular in some places though. a few people on PT have yellow bettas. like myself...here's my boy,Bananner.

    Breezy is super cute! I love his blue-ish fins =0)

    Yellows are fairly hard to come by, especially in pet stores. Getting yellow Bettas requires the red-loss gene in both parents... meaning, if you breed a yellow Betta and a Betta with any red on it (or even a Betta that is a different color but carries the red gene), you will not get yellow babies.
