    Lovely Lucky Linus

What a charmer he is. Although I know you technically paid for him he really is a rescue and I know he has a much better life because of you. He is adorable and and I love his "breed." I wish you both a long happy life together.

I think dogs know when they've found the right human. I also think Linus is probably one of the special dogs whose human is very lucky to have found.

    Lucky Linus!

Hi there Linus in beautiful Nairobi, Kenya! Happy Dog of the Day!

What a handsome, utterly charming "Tanzanian Brown" boy you are, Linus, a total heart-melter, with such a special story to share! Your human waited patiently for that perfect pup to come along until finally, there you were, and with exchange of a mere $2.50 (we all know you're priceless) the deal was sealed!

Your human knew the moment you two met that you were the one, and the rest is happy history! What an exciting, adventure packed 2 1/2 years it's been, Linus..finding your forever human, making that stressful move from Tanzania to Nairobi, settling in to your new home, making new friends and proving all of those doubters wrong!

He is quickly changing the minds of all who meet him, many of whom believed that local breeds like him were only meant to be fierce and mean guard dogs. Linus breaks the stereotype by being incredibly sweet and attention-seeking with everyone he meets.
And perhaps in the not too distant future you'll be shedding that ex-pat moniker, claiming the good ol' USA as home! But wherever you and your human may hang your hats, on whatever continent, as long as you're together, you're home! How lucky your mom/dad is, having a best friend, a fellow traveler, a sweet and loving companion in you, Linus! You're a priceless treasure, beautiful inside and out, and so very deservng of your big day of honor!

Thanks for the BIG smies, sweetheart! Meeting you, readng all about your adventure packed life and seeing all of your precious pics, has been a real treat! I hope you're enjoying a very special Dog of the Day celebration, chowing down on some yummy dagga and ugali, hehe, playing with brother Nelson, taking a nice walk in the Karura Forest, lounging in the sun, pestering your people for more yummy treats, being spoiled rotten and loved to pieces! Lots of love, hugs and smooches to you, precious Linus, our very special and most deserving "international," ex-pat Dog of the Day, EVERY day! Love to dear Nelson, too!

    Oh gosh...how cute!!! *KISSES*

Dearest Linus, what a gorgeous Tanzanian Brown Doggie you are! You are so pretty and happy-looking. And you're already a citizen of the world, home in Tanzania and Kenya so far and maybe one day in the USA, too! You and your dear person and your canine housemate Nelson all love each other very much, don't you. What a delightful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Linus, on being chosen today's Dog of the Day! We hope you and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

    Thanks!

Thanks all for the wonderful kind words about Linus. He truly is an amazing dog! We celebrated with an early dinner and some cuddling and Netflix inside- safe from the rain. So glad to be a part of the Dog of the Day community!
