Baxter .... finally over the URI ... new pics!

As you may or may not remember, I adopted Redfurd and Baxter together from the pound. They both had the URI when I got them, but because Redfurd had already had shots in his previous life, he faired pretty well. Poor Baxter had a terrible time though. He had the Calici virus, with all the tongue and mouth sores. They bled and he drooled for 2 weeks straight. He survived on water-packed tuna, and lots of love from me! THANK GOD, he is back to himself, and beautiful (handsome) as ever!

He has lost weight, of course, but that will pick back up in no time now that he can eat again!;)

Baxter,is already looking a lot better,and with all that LOVE,and TLC,taht he is going,to get from his Guardians,he will be a Big Healthy Happy Cat,in no time,at all.Congratulations,on that Great News!

He looks like he's also part Maine Coon. He'll fill out quite nicely!

WOW!! He is looking great and like a HAPPY CAT! HAPPY CAT! HAPPY CAT!!

He is quite thin right now ... but he does have some Maine Coon in him too, I believe ... so I'm sure he will make up for it in time!;) He's a big BABY too ... loves to just melt into your arms!:D

Oh WOW!! Baxter is one handsome hunky kitty! His coloring is gorgeous and beautiful face, too!! I love those Maine Coon looking guys!:rolleyes: - especially when they look all tough but are big babies:D

Poor Baxter really had it tough, but thank goodness he was in good hands. Bless you Kim for pulling this precious cat through his terrible illness.
