Why do so many horror franchises now feature a clown as the main villain? It seems to be "in" to think of clowns as scary, when I never found them at all frightening!

When I was a kid we went to the VFW Christmas party and the Santa was past the point of being 'drunk'. Well, we now have three pumpkins carved.
Pumpkin #1 was carved, the pumpkin itself was fine, but we had a failure. I burned the seeds. Therefore, I had to get the boy another pumpkin to properly have Halloween.
Being that I have writing to do tomorrow, how about a flagon of wine? (No carafes, please!)

T'was merely intended as a joke. The studied compounds are more prevalent in other foods, like wine. No way in heck I'm eating that much parsley, which is another source of the compounds.Quote:

I'm drinking iced tea because it's 72 degrees outside - I think this might be the end of the stretch of warm days. When I was little, nice fall weather after the first frost was known as Indian summer, but I think that term may have gone by the wayside. We are supposed to be back to highs in the upper 50s by the end of the week.
