To find your very first post, Go to Search Advanced, then type in your UserName, choose the following: Search posts - Show results as posts - Any date and older - Last posting date - Ascending order.

Mine was easy; I've only been posting since last October. There was a COTD named Hobbes that had been in the shelter at the same time as my Pinot girl and I wanted to say how happy she was that one of her cage mates was adopted!

My kitty, Pinot, just wanted me to write to her former cage-mate! Pinot (her name was Zoe then) was in the Baltimore shelter at the same time and adopted at the end of March at the approximate age of 10 months or so. She wanted to say how happy she is that one of her friends was adopted into a loving home and is healthy. She's been very concerned about all her furry friends! Congrats Hobbes - purrs and kisses to you and your new family!

What fun! My first post was about Edwina and her walking harness. I still post about that (and she still has it!) nine years later....
I was giving advice about cocker spaniels. There must have been a lot of dog groomer abuse cases that year because I was talking about learning to groom yourself as a lot of groomers weren't to be trusted and cockers need a lot of grooming. I can't believe it but I said I liked cockers from byb's and mills better than akc breeders. Its still true from my experience that show cocker live shorter lives and have more temperment problems, but it just sounds bad reading it. I think show breeders have come a long way in improvements now.

I got Scooter's age wrong in it! I got him in 1995 when he was about 5 weeks old, putting his b-day around Sept 21, but introduced him as being 10 1/2 in that message (Jan 2007) instead of 11 1/2. I'm a bad meowmie!
well.. apparently I joined march 31st... but my first "post" or should I say thread was on MAY 27th!!... hmm... I donīt think so....
I did spend a whole lot around the dog breeds section at first.. then started posting in general and dog general, then pet general, etc etc...
but I canīt believe it took me almost two months to post... to make a thread maybe but to post?.. hard to think about it....

My first couple were DOTD and POTD posts. My first post other than those was in a thread about sirrahved's mice "Porkchop and applesauce". I asked if their names came from an episode of The Brady Bunch. She confirmed they were named for that episode. :)
