I can't get this pose to look right, especially the hind end.

Look any better? I'm not going to change it now. Thanks for all the help :D I'm not done yet...not sure what to do with the butterfly/background...I want the butterfly to look sorta magical or somehting?

Don't know if this will help, but maybe if you Googled a couple images to get some references? I'm guessing you just free-handed this completely off the top of your head, so maybe a few photos might help..

Thanks! I did try looking for refs, but I couldn't find any that fit the position of the back legs....I'll try fixing the shoulders, thanks :D

Yep those back legs would look alot better with some movement like jumping.... maybe one leg up one leg down. Also a tounge hanging out would be like that dog was chasing that butterfly.
