Yeah and now we won't be going:( Boo Hoo
I think I would just be really uncomfortable. Leg hurts from work but I did ok. I think my ribs hurt nearly as much as my leg did (from falling off the bike).
One of these days I'll get better:D

Anna, I'm glad to hear and see that you are feeling better and having some good times with friends.
Love the cage pictures and I really enjoyed seeing you, Robin and Staci. You all look so happy!
How's the leg (and work) treatin' ya, Anna?
Hey Ashley thanks for asking.
Needless to say it's getting better. Slowly but surely. It's still quite painful and I'm sure it will be for some time to come. I'm keeping it wrapped with the ace bandage so that really helps. It looks better that's for sure!
I'm not working my full schedule yet, maybe I'll try next week.
It sure looks a lot better now Anna. :) The muscle will still be painful till
it's completely healed. I am glad you can still work even if it's a shorter
schedule. Been taking any bike rides lately? :D
It looks much better now, Anna. I'm glad everything is healing up well. :)
hey the lump is looking better! :)
have fun this weekend!
You think your funny don't you:p;)Quote:

Thanks Staci! We'll try!
Anna, why don't you ask Liz how her neighbor's tomatos are this year:p ;) :D
Don't you just love this group! :p Very funny Liz and Gini!! Anna your leg looks wonderful. You are healing nicely. :)Quote:

Sorry, no one has to read this but I just want to complain a bit :o
MY LEG HURTS! I've been so depressed and the last couple of days has just been so terrible I want to cry. I think I could cry right now:o
Just when I think I'm really starting to heal good, BAM! it starts hurting again.
We went to a race this weekend and did quite a bit of walking and I hung in there quite nicely although I did have some pain, it was bearable.
Tuesday was awesome. I came home from work and was really happy for the first time since it happened. Then BAM! I get up after eating dinner and it's hurting like a MF (pardon the language). I was just pissed. I thought it was really starting to heal (and yeah I know it really is) and I would start feeling better, but it looks like it's going to get worse before it gets better. Which really should be no big surprise, but for some reason it is
This may sound terrible for me to say right now but it's just the way I feel. I never want a big dog again. I love my Bon boy to death, but at this moment in time I don't ever want a big dog again.
Not only did he give me this hurt, the poor guy is always hitting it in one way or another. With is face, tail or his body. I hope once it gets better I probably won't feel this way.
Thanks for letting me cry once again.
Aw, that sucks that you're feeling so blue. I wouldn't feel bad for feeling the way you do. It's completely natural, I would think! Big dogs definitely come with their own pile of dirty laundry. I'm sorry you're not feeling well, and that it hurts so badly. :(
I'm really sorry that you aren't feeling better by now. I hate being in any kind of pain (like, who does) and I know it brings my mood down when I do feel rotten.
I hope it goes away soon.
As to Liz's neighbor's tomatoes - do you remember last year when she was "skulking" around looking at them over the fence trying to decide what to do?
(sorry, Liz, I just couldn't resist! - trying to make Anna laugh!)
I remember the tomatoes!!!! ;)
Anna, I'm sorry you are feeling so down, but who can blame you? This has been a tough ride and I think you have handled it beautifully. When you and Mark got a "big" dog, you really got the biggest dog! Maybe you won't choose that route next time and that is ok, too. I know you love Bon. Just like I love Mack, but sometimes, we wonder "what have I done?".
I'm going to hope and pray that very soon you will be pain free.
Logan
Anna, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so rotten. :( No wonder you're depressed. I hope the pain will go away soon and your leg back in shape!
Sending lots of positive thoughts.
((((hugs))))
:(
Poor you, and poor Bon. He's just clueless about his size, isn't he?
{{{{{{{Anna}}}}}}}
Aw, Anna. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...es/console.gifHope you feel brighter soon.
I'm so sorry you've been feeling down Anna.
I wish I could wave a magic wand and make your pain all go away!
{{{{hugs}}}} to you!
I'm sorry to hear you are feeling bad Anna. :( I hope the pain will go away soon. {{hugs}}
Anna, as I've said before, I've always heard the soft tissue injuries are
he slowest to heal & can be very painful. That doesn't make it hurt any less
I know. :( Maybe taking some ibuprofen daily could speed healing or at least lessen the everyday pain of it. Hope you feel better soon.
P.S. On a sad note, no free tomatoes this year. :( The empty house has
been sold and there's no tomatoes this year. :( :D
Sorry you are still hurting Anna. Hopefully things will start feeling better soon.
(What race did you go to?)
I haven't read every entry in this from beginning to end, so if my suggestion has already been given, I'm sorry.
Have you tried wearing an ace wrap on your leg - the support of it might lessen the pain.
Special delivery from Beijing {{{hugs}}}
:( Aw, Anna, I'm SO sorry you had a relapse. Believe me, girl, I know how depressing it is, and when you're miserable, it sucks big time!!!
Even tho my spine surgeries were 2 years ago and I'm feeling geat, there's always a day when out of the blue, I feel like crap. Same with the dog bites, especially my finger where the widdle dog bit me in June. I still have a huge, hard lump where the teethies went in. Liz is right, soft tissue injuries are the worse and take the longest, because of the way blood circulates to muscles, tendons etc. My resent slightly torn tendon in my ankle took months to heal and leave me pain free.
The "docs" here are right, ibuprophen is the way to go (so sez the ER doc. too, btw) At least you enjoyed yourself before it hurt you again, so now it's time to chill for a spell. *sends cyber kiss on boo boo to make it better*. I love you, take care.
Did you know your all great?...yeah I'm sure you did:D Thanks for making me feel better too. Both mentally AND physically!
Friday wasn't the greatest day and yesterday afternoon was kinda miserable...but last night was great, and so far this morning has been too:D
I don't know what you all did but I'm feeling so much better, even having less painhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...heerleader.gif
I think there must have been some PT prayers at work for me! THANKS TO ALL!!!!
Amy, we went to that road course I posted about.
Grace, I've been wearing a bandage for about the last 3-4 weeks. God if I didn't it would be excrusciating. But thanks for the suggestion:)
Liz I'm very sorry to hear there are no free tomatoes for you this year;)
Karen, I knew if anyone would understand you would since you've had a severe dog bite/attack. I'd been taking 2 Relafen/day and they bumped it up to two. I don't think I can take ibuprofen with that, but I'll double check.
Aww and I'll make Mark give me the kiss on my Boo Boo:p
I love you all!!!
AWWW poor Liz is going to have to BUY tomatoes like everyone else! LOL! :D
Anna I am glad you are feeling better and your spirits have brightened. Constant pain can sure wear a person down! Dogs, no matter what size, can do us in! Bella ran into me in the yard about a year ago and crashed into my knee. I saw stars! Years and years ago my other standard poodle, Whitney, banged into my teeth when I was bending down to put her bowl on the floor. Again - more stars and the teeth actually went numb for a minute or two. I guess the only breed of dog that itsn't capable of hurting us is a chihuahua! LOL! Keep feeling good Anna!! ;)

I'm sorry your leg is aching. :( :( But I'm glad PT is here to cheer you up. :D

I'm so glad you're feeling better! :D Now you can get more confidence back and that will make you even happier. I hadn't checked with you in a while. Sorry for that. So, I was glad to see this.
and now you have something to look forward for this coming weekend! :D
Sorry i wasn't here over the weekend to wish you well. Glad you are feeling better though!
