Thanks Amy:)
The days have been good and bad. Better the less I move my leg. And let me tell you this, the dogs don't like it one little bit...especially little Miss Roxey. She misses her bike rides.
I went to let the dogs outside Friday evening and she stayed in the house and did this...

She was bound and determined she WAS going for a ride. I feel so bad for them:(
Awwww... there will be bike rides in your future Roxy.. I promise. :)
Isn't MARK an "Approved Relief Pilot / Authorized Bike Driver" ???Quote:

I hope your leg heals well. It looks horrible, .......... hmmmmmm, trying to be positive .......... it is a nice shade of purple ..... and isn't that your fav colour?? :D :p
Miss Roxey - you have to let your mama rest up a bit!
LOL! Roxey, you are just precious! I can see her mind at work..."Look, I can't make it any clearer, mom....it's as plain as the nose on my face!!!................Look into these eyes...deeper...deeper...)
I just want to reach through the screen & hug your beautiful girl! (I've gotten that look a few times too. ) And ditto what Phred said. :o
He he, yes Michelle purple is my favorite color...I just don't like to see it on my skin;)
And Mark as a "Approved Relief Pilot / Authorized Bike Driver" nope, he's not approved or authorized:p
Actually he's been busy working at work(guess someone has to pay the bills:o) and then working at home. But I'm not sure if he'd be too willing to ride my cute girlie bike any way:D
Although she hasn't been getting rides or walkies she has been getting plenty of quality time with mom and lots of brushing and loving...she's blowing coat like crazy!
Oh and an update...
The health inspector came today. Actually I met him in the driveway as I was just getting home from the Dr. All he said was that when a dog bites someone they just have to make sure the dog is A-OK, no rabies or anything. If they do, 10 days will be enough for the dog to be sick. Well he could "hear" Bon was fine through the window (barking like crazy) and said that's all he needed was to know the dog was up and doing fine. That was easy enough!
As for my leg it is getting better by the day.
Having the bandage wrapped around it relieves a lot of the pain now where before it was just aggravating.
I went to the Dr this morning to have the stitches removed and can I just say "OUCH!" . Touching that spot feels like a million needles poking me  He did put some tape on the biggest cut to make sure it doesn't pull apart.
The bruising on the top is looking better but that hematoma needs to go away. It's what hurts the worst.
I'll attach a couple pics if you want to see.
Glad to see it healing......... and now you are psycodelic :p .........
Now I can see a wittle lump I ddin´t see before, maybe because you were so swelled..... good to hear everything is gettign around better........
Poor Roxey...... awwwww........ what a face........awww
((hugs)) and virtual wooooos......... hoping to see you in "lighter shades" soon
It's looking better! I'm glad it's healing. :)
Anna, I'm glad you are healing. I need to go back and catch up a bit, I think. Your leg still looks so painful, and I assume you have not been able to work at all. :( How is Bon? OK, I hope!
Anna, I think that your leg looks a lot better and I'm glad that it's also starting to feel better.:) I hope that you continue to heal quickly and that the hematoma goes away soon. Please take care. (((HUGS)))
I tried to work last Tuesday and hurt so much after it that I got a Dr excuse to be off till the 9th. And Bon, he's doing good...well that is until tonight :rolleyes:Quote:

I was feeling very guilty for not taking the dogs out since I've been off work so I took them for a very short (1/2 mile total/dog) bike ride ride this evening.
It was so short that I didn't have to peddle very much (they mostly pulled me) so it wasn't too painful.
Well when it was Bon's turn Mark said he wouldn't take him if he were me, he might wreck me or something. Of course I ignored him and took off. When we were coming back Bon heard what I think was a truck bed closing and totally freaked  He started running and I lost control of the bike and went down and he started pulling me and the bike along the road. Luckily I was close to the grass and didn't hit the pavement much, just a little road burn on my knee. It jarred me and I'm a little sore in my arm and chest but I'm fine.
I feel so bad because I could tell Bon was totally upset when we got home as was Mark because I got hurt again. Of course it was all my fault and I should have known better. Poor judgement on my part:o
I just needed a good cry so thanks for letting me.
I have contacted Nancy to see if there's anything so can do to help me help Bon. Please say a little prayer that she can.
aw sweetie....gentle hugs for you, ear skritchies for bon and better days ahead.
Oh Anna, I am so sorry to hear that your little bike ride ended so badly. I know you feel guilty concentrating on yourself, but really I think the best thing you can do for Bon right now is to get yourself better. Once Bon has his whole Mom back, he will be a happier, more comfortable boy. Take care of yourself and everything will heal faster. {{{Hugs}}}
Oh no!! I am so sorry. :( Please take it easy(er) from now on. Try healing one owwie before getting another.
Give Bon Boy loves for me. :)
Gee ANNA 66......you've been having a bummer of a time lately. Take it easy mate...... ;)
Wom
Oh Anna, you know you have lots of shoulders here to cry on anytime. I could hardly believe what I was reading. W  W! that must have been scary! I am glad you didn't hurt your bad leg any more than it already is hurt. Now how are you going to explain that brush burn on your knees to the doctor without getting a lecture? :pQuote:

See... hubbies aren't all full of hot air and have a bit of "gut" :p ;) LOL
Sit. Stay. STAY... Good Human. :D
*hugs* Hope you feel better soon.
Hope the talk with Bon goes well!
when it rains it pours. I'm sorry about your bike accident. I'm glad you haven't broken any bones yet!! I hope you stay outta trouble so you can recover from the dog bite and bike crash :)
Oh my goodness Anna, OW!! I'm glad you weren't hurt worse then that. Take it easy and get better! I wish I was closer I'd take all of your dogs bike riding and hiking for ya. ;)
Oh Anna. I'm sorry you have another owie. *HUGS*
Aw, Anna...I'm so sorry about your latest Bon episode. *Sigh* at least your pride was hurt more than you were. I HOPE Mark didn't do an "I told you so" Who wuuda thunk anything would have happened in such a short distance? (oops..I do)
Your leg looks so much better, and very colorful, I might add. It'll hurt for a while, but it will get better. Soft tissue injuries, imo, seem worse than bone injuries. But hang in there, my dear friend, it WILL get better, I promise.
LOVED the expression on Mz Roxy's face! Talk about making you feel guilty...Jeesh!
I'm sure Nancy will be a tremendouse help! She's awesome! I can't wait to read what she says. Hugs to furkids and hoomans alike from your buddies in Glenside
:rolleyes:Quote:

You've got a HARD HEAD, that's for sure!
Hope you like the Helmet and TRAINING WHEELS Mark has ordered. :p
Good thing you *BOUNCE* well!
STAY PUT!
Hire a neighbor kid to bike ride the dogs!
Rest that leg and your sore body now!
Silly girl!
I guess I'm going to have really straighten you out when I see you Saturday! ;)
Ok, that is it!!! I am coming over to give you a good "talking" to!!!
Please take it easy!!!
Oh no!
I'm sorry you had to endure that, Anna. I'm glad you weren't hurt too much worse though. Try to take it easy, even if it is difficult at times. :)
Anna, I'm so sorry to hear that you've injured yourself again.:( Please rest, stay put, and take it easy.
What next? A bit of abseiling perhaps???
The Oxford Dictionary: Rest - stop work or movement in order to relax or recover one's strength
Nowhere does it say go charging round on a bike with a very large dog attached to it
Oh you guys...you sure know how to bring a big :D to my face don't you?! I wish I could give you all a great big http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...Smileys/19.gif
I'm glad I have such good friends to talk to even when I do stupid things.
I guess I'm just as hard headed as Bon is!
Well one good thing about being off all this time is that I've had some time to do some videos I've been meaning to do and have never had the time. So stay tuned (for videos not for more drama from me!)
Ten thousand more http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...eys/bighug.gif to you all!
Anna! Stay put! Hope you feel better soon.
I hope Nancy can see what's happening with Bon boy.
Haha, Anna. You really do have a hard head. That's probably a quality Mark has a love/hate relationship with. ;) I'm sorry Bon got so upset, and I'm sorry you got hurt again. That would have been scary! Can't wait to see the videos. :)
Oh Anna.... {{{hugs}}}
Glad you weren’t hurt too bad!
Please take it easy... no more bike rides with the pups please!
I'm quite certain they'll understand! :D
Well, everyone has already said anything I can think of. Sit stay; let one owie heal before getting another one; what part of "REST" don't you understand.
I am glad the bike ride episode wasn't worse.
Please consider taking some time to heal, ok?
Anna - for pete's sake woman stay in bed and rest. :p
Glad that this episode did not turn out any worse than what it could have been. Good luck with Nancy, hopefully she can shed some light on the whole ordeal.
Take it easy girl. :)
Awww your not stupid, you love your dogs and your trying to give them some exercise despite the pain you are in. Just take it easy, I agree with some others, get someone else to do it for you for awhile. This way you do not feel guilty about them sitting inside staring at you or the bike :) and you can get better!! Speedy recovery prayers coming your way!!
Well, you know I'm not going to be all nicey nice! Uhhhh...it was STUPID ;) :p :D
Now will you please start behaving yourself and stay off your feet as much as possible and let your body heal.
If you refuse to do that then I will have to just come up there and sit on you for a while and you know you don't want that. You're so tiny I would squash you like a bug ;).
I'm going to have to let Mark have it also. What was he thinking letting you get on that bike like that? If he did tell you not to do it and you refused to listen than he should have let the air out of the tires. Geesh!!!
:D ;) :p :D ;) :p
{{{{{HUGS}}}}}
Robin, your post made me giggle. ;) Tough love!
Anna, Robin is right though, take it easy. The pups will be okay for now, but if you don't take it easy, you'll have to prolong your rest and they won't like that!
do we have some spare halti´s for Anna??....... we might need to crate you honey.........
take it easy, it´s hard, but it the best so you can recuperate faster.........
hugs back to you.......hey Roxey......how about some husky pinning your mom?? ;)
