This is a strong, nimble, lightly built, and beautiful dog. It has a glorious long double coat, which come in various different colours. By the 1700’s, the breed was completely developed, but wasn’t recognized in England till 1909, and in the US till 1911. This dog can be used for tracking, herding, watchdogging, guarding, agility, competitive obedience, and performing tricks.
Collie/Sheltie?
yes it's a sheltie.
I knew it was going to be too easy
ok, let's see.......This breed is respected and admired throughout the world for its versatility, intelligence, and loyalty. It has existed as a recognized breed for a relatively brief period of time compared to other dog breeds. The early ancestors of this breed were of several types suited to their environments. Coat length and texture, color, and build all varied but these types all possessed ruggedness, intelligence, soundness, and the ability to do specialized work.
With advances in transportation and communication came the forming of societies of herders and the first trends toward selective breeding of herding dogs, record keeping, and a gradual trend toward one type of dog which could work equally well under all conditions. In 1881, the first formal club, the "Phylax" society was formed but lasted only about three years.
hopefully this is enough info........

This is a Hungarian breed. After World War II, when Russians took control of Hungary, the native Hungarians feared all dogs of this breed would be killed by the Russians, because owning one was a symbol of aristocracy.

It excels at obedience, agility and much more. They thrive on praise, are sensitive and very trainable. Originated in Northumberland.(this might just give it away)....The breed is descended from old British droving breeds with some spaniel added. OK, any more will give it away, I may have already said too much.....
Good Luck and thanks!
