To open them , you pull that white cord (??)with blue stripes , on the left of the window
This is how it looks from outside opened (see the cats watching me !!)
and finally how it looks from the outside , closed !
Of course , we don't have those on every window ! We have it in all bedrooms , bathroom , and in the kitchen(because in the morning , I walk around in my pyjamas , he he) . On the other windows , which can be looked through for neighbours , we have these curtains . Hope you like them ..
cool pictures...
Yup, those are what I remember, Lut, except the ones on the hotel were metal and I didn't realize they made them in plastic also. I really like those as they seem to not only block people from looking in, but they really seem to secure the building also.
And one question. Is that naw-tee Inka attacking poor Maya in the picture from the outside? That poor Maya is such a good girl for putting up with that little stinker. ;) :)
Wow! Thanks for the info, Lut.
he he , that is indeed my sweet (???) Inka , & maya !
She is trying to get upon Maya , so to have a better view of me in the garden ....!
That's what she's doing all day : jump on Maya , or on her tail   ! Amasing how well maya accepts this !!
I'm printing the info out to see if they're available locally. Wish me luck.
Wow, those are some nifty blinds - I just don't think they would hold up well in this Northern climate though, with the snow and sub-zero temps :( . I finally just started leaving my mini-blinds open, and crouching down below the window when I get undressed :D :D  :D so I wouldn't impede the kitty's view - God forbid.......
Well we have them here too with temperatures to minus 20 deg Celsius and quite some snow too.
LOL! The things we do for our kitties! :D :DQuote:

READY?
Ed wants to go over to Grandma's house for a few minutes before I go to work.....
As I am talking to her, she looks over my shoulder and rolls her eyes into her head....
Edward had climbed on the table and using his paw, pulled down a few slats to get a look outside.....When I call his name he takes one more look outside---then drops his paw from the blinds......nothing broken, dropped or bent....always the perfect gentleman...
