Sitting here waiting for the snow they said we wouldn't get. Now they say 3-6 inches. I can handle that just so long as we don't get any ice. It's so darn cold-----BRRRR!
Are we supposed to get snow now?? They've had the worst time with this one; everything from a "dusting" to a foot was predicted at any given time!:confused:

It's been snowing to beat the band for hours now, and we've probably gotten to the 3" mark. I've been painting balustrades (Ellie, you've been here and know how many there are!) and trim; a chore that has been looming large over my head for some time! Ugh!Quote:

Tea this morning would be lovely. It's -12oC, -19oC windchill with blowing snow. A perfect day to stay inside.

Oh yes, RICHARD, get those fires burning! It's 1 degree here in the land of Concordia! Being a resident, I don't have to be out in the weather (thank goodness!) RICHARD, a spot by the fire and a big mug of coffee with Bailey's and anything on the breakfast menu. Today I'm celebrating my 28th year of no smoking!!
I had a banana blueberry smoohie for breakfast. Now I can't decide on beef stew or meatloaf for lunch. I'm thinking meatloaf with mashed taters sounds perfect for this cold snow covered day. :D
