I took a good look- I think that must be a female. The muzzles are usually shorter on the females, and I see the wavy "spayed" bitch coat in the ruff/mane.
I love that site- its like a new borzoi fix every week!

hee, look at the Borzoi Photo of the Week! Strictly an uneducated guess on my part but I strongly suspect that they are having a good time. I wish the Photo of the Week had an archive.

I thought so too.. party poopers.. lol.
The Borzoi Photo of the Week hasn't changed yet. In the meantime, look at this one from the Borzoi Canada Web site. This dog's name is Sashya (1985-1997) ... she was a dog performer and introduced many people across Canada to the Borzoi breed. But look at what she is doing in this photograph! Pretty cool huh?!

If you go to the Borzoi Canada page
http://www.rimouski.org/borzoicanada
and click the one called "Versatile Borzoi", there are more photos and stories there. All the way at the bottom is another one called "Pictorial History" that goes back almost 100 years. Borzoimom, you can probably tell from looking at the photos what has or hasn't changed about the breed through the years.
There are a few, some with great success but its really rare to have a very good agility Borzoi. Their grandmother learned carting. That to me was really amazing! lol.
