8 months later, guess who is coming to live with us, permanently? BEN!!!!!! He is coming tomorrow and if Mack handles it well, which I think he will, I am going to have that precious boy back here with us. His owners love him so much, but their life is getting ready to change and they want what is best for him. Todd is going back to school and will be moving from place to place for training and they were worried about how it will affect Ben.Quote:

Helen and I spent a long time with them last night and I might just have "buddy" again, that can do therapy work with me, go to work with me, etc etc etc. Honey and Mack are awfully special, but they are not equipped mentally and physically to do the things I enjoyed with Lilly. Ben will never replace Lilly, but we all recognized that I needed her more than we ever knew and I have missed her so much and the things we did together. Scott is agreeable to this, although he has never met Ben, since he was out of town when Ben was here before. And he is out of town now, too. But, he ok, and Helen is ok, and they both support me on this. :)
