I have lived in the same county my whole life except the first 6 weeks of my life and here is my "Location" from TFF:
"Location: not where I would have picked.... oh well. :("
It is tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooo humid. The people are complete idiots as well as inconsiderate and they hate all dogs. They are very shocked to see me riding my bike on main roads (on the sidewalk of course) They seem to be saying, "Oh, you poor poor girl, where is your mom to drive you everywhere you please?" ugh, no good fish stores, everything is overpriced, the library seems to never be open, the people are complete idiots and it is tooooooooooooooooo humid.

I, too talk to people all over the world on this site, but I think we are the only two from the Pittsburgh area! I live about two or three miles from Springwood Rd.Quote:

I live in Southern California and I LOVE it. I've been to many places and so far, California is the only place in the US I'd like to live. I'm sure I'm partial, as its the only place I've lived. ;)
Why I like it:
*Very diverse population - I can learn a ton about different cultures
*Weather is amazing
*We have the mountains, beaches, rivers/lakes, desert, snow, agriculture - everything!
*Trendy (where I live)
*Major cities are nearby...which is just close enough
*With major cities brings large hospitals, schools, preforming arts, movies, etc.
:D
Well, I have lived in the same place my whole life. I live in Minnesota, and it stinks!! I like our farm, it is fairly big, and really "homee" but the weather stinks -40 degree winters :o The summers are really nice though, not to hot (most of the time) and never too cold. I do not like the fact that my school is 20 miles away. My best friend live 20 miles EAST of my school, and I live 20 miles WEST of my school, so that means if I want to go vist my best friend it takes about 45 min. to get there!!
rant.. rant.. rant.. :p
FUN! Here's my list:
Portland, Oregon
Little Rock, Arkansas
Honolulu, Hawaii
Charleston, South Carolina
Seattle, Washington
Long Island, New York
Jacksonville, Florida
Sacramento, California
Norfolk, Virginia
New Orleans, Louisiana
Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Orlando, Florida
Houston, Texas
Chesapeake-Virginia Beach, Virginia
Charlotte, North Carolina
Providence, Rhode Island
New York City, New York
Memphis, Tennessee
Santa Cruz, California
San Diego, California
Hartford, Connecticut
Nashville, Tennessee
Carlisle, Pennsylvania
Thats pretty diverse...I wouldn't mind a few of these: Seattle, New York, Hawaii :)
I'm happy with N.E. Ohio. I love having four seasons. I also love living in a small town. :D
I live outside of Grand Rapids Mi. I was born in California, I would love to move back. My husband on the other hand loves Michigan, he was born and raised here. :( I hate to cold, the city and so on. My city is actually a very nice city, nice parks trees quiet and such. It just isn't "my city" in a sense. It doesn't fit me I guess. I would love to move, out of this city or Michigan if we could. But right now I am stuck here. :(
I do, and I don't...
I LOVE how much space I have, and the fact that I can have all my furbabies and then some.
I just hate the fact that I live in such a crappy neighborhood, and the HO in the apartment behind me is such an IRRESPONSIBLE neighbor!!! And the fact that the carpeting is maroon!!
I wish I could find a CAT FRIENDLY place that doesn't require an idiotic amount of money PER CAT, that is non-refundable.
Betty yet, I wish I could buy my own place. That AIN'T in the cards!
I like where I live. I live in a pretty rural county with lots of countryside. We have about 3/4 acre, fenced for the furkids. Neighbors are quiet, street is quiet. I live about 50 miles north of Tampa, FL so if I need to go to the city I can and it's not too far. I work in Tampa so I am here often. I live the peacefulness of my city and the traffic is less than Tampa. I lived in North Tampa for 2 years because of school and liked it at first but was dying to get back "home" towards the end. I am so much happier out of Tampa back in my hometown closer to my family and friends. Our weather isn't the greatest (hurricanes as we all know) but it's what I know and I have gotten used to it. We only have 2 seasons...HOT and HOTTER with a great deal of humidity but like I said it's what I know and gotta stick with what ya know. :) I wouldn't mind having a house in Wyoming/Montana area to go to for vacations but that's not gonna happen for a real long time. Ultimately, I can not see myself ever leaving Florida permanently, I can use a vacation from it but that's it.
Western Washington is the I love to hate this place...place. I was born and raised here. I have been to many other places and prefer my home to others. Our weather is less than to be desired but when it behaves itself, it's priceless. We have quick access to oceans, mountains and desert,(Eastern WA). The traffic sucks, but where doesn't it.
